The VistaGram® Modern

The image opposite shows London's Mayfair and West End. Hitherto because of their cartoon nature, maps based on an axonometric plane commonly known as 3D, were not readily accepted by professionals such as architects, cartographers and surveyors.

The VistaGram® Modern style was developed to overcome this reluctance, the detail is such to be realistic but still retain its primary use of being a map.

From all the examples in the market this map was selected as the finest example of 21st century 3D mapping by Simon Foxell for his impressive book 'Mapping London - making sense of the city '.

Mapping London is a beautiful, compelling anthology that explores over six centuries of London maps tracing the mesmerising evolution of the city and exploring the hopes and fears of the inhabitants as history unfolds.
