London Taxi Driver's Association
The requirement was for an A3 - 2D map of Heathrow with drawings of hotels
in 3D to be encapsulated and displayed in the taxi driver's cabin. However,
then they saw the VistaGram® Little Book!
This successful product has now been updated because of Terminal Five and a
sister version created covering Canary Wharf and City Airport. The Heathrow
Little Book contains over 600 listings including Airline Operator's with Code
and Telephone number; world destinations with Operator's Code and Departure
Terminal; and UK destinations from Heathrow with mileage and cab fare.
Opens like a map
The map needed modification because the area on the ground did not lend itself
to the required A3 format. 3D hotels were added with other locations referenced.
The map would also be seen in other media and displayed so the hotel listing
and location information was dropped into available space on the map itself.
