The Ordnance Survey Select™ system does away with finding the location you want running across two or more maps. It covers England Scotland & Wales and allows you to site centre on your shop, business, house or holiday destination.

Businesses will most likely prefer the laminated rolled version to show their area of delivery radius.

For the walker, driver etc the OS Select™ can be supplied hand folded.

STEP 1 - Decide on the format

Hand-folded

The specially formulated paper has been tested for durability and will survive being folded at least 2,000 times.

Rolled

If you prefer, your map can be supplied in a tube and can be used on the wall in offices, schools, local organisations or as a gift for someone with an interest in a particular area.

STEP 2 - Decide which map suits you

OS Select maps are based on Ordnance Survey's two most popular series Explorer® and OS Landranger. It is possible that the map information may vary from the standard paper products.

Explorer™ Map

From walking to mountain biking, the essential map for outdoor activities. Highly detailed it features every town, village and hamlet as well as roads, lanes, footpaths and rights of way. Scale 1:25,000 Coverage 20km x 20km Map size 80cm x 80cm.

Landranger Map

The ideal map for planning days out. Britain's most popular map is packed with accurate and informative detail, including all the highways, byways and numerous visitor attractions. Scale 1:50,000. Coverage 40km x 40km Map size 80cm x 80cm.

STEP 3 - Select the centre point

OS Select allows you to choose the centre point of your map, be it your home, office, favourite holiday spot or area of particular interest. Please Note: When ordering your map please be aware that the map will be centred on that location. Should therefore your desired map centre be in a coastal region it is possible that the site-centred map will have a significant area of sea. Ordnance Survey cannot offer refunds on any map where details as written on the order form have been followed correctly.

STEP 4 - Pick your own individual title and subtitle

Now be creative and have some fun. Whether the map is for yourself or as a gift for family and friends, you have up to 16 title characters and 32 subtitle characters including spaces, to think of something witty, serious or perhaps just informative.

STEP 5 - Decorate your map cover with a picture

Choose from our gallery of evocative country images or feature an overview of your chosen area.
